Till the purchase, the sales executive showed great enthusiasm. After the purchase was completed, the response from the dealer, M/S Derik Motor was nil. I was informed that a technician from TATA Power will come to install the charging adopter. Nobody came even after 2 months. I informed this and the mileage problem to the dealer and the Tata service engineer. But nobody cared. The drivability is good. ARAI tested range given is 320km. However, the real-world mileage of 140 km is very poor. I thought it would give at least 220-250 km real-world mileage. You can't use the last 10% charge. After the vehicle is fully charged the display shows a range of 200-220 km only and not 320, km which Tata claims. Either Tata was misled or the dealer supplied a mid-range vehicle.

Hi, bought LR 2023 in company offer at 9.30 in 2024. The local dealership was ok, got a good price and they even visited the home for the booking amount. -Awesome city car, smooth drive, easy maneuvering around corners and potholes, fast pickup. -Slow charging at home(10% takes an hr) using company installed fuse box n portable charger(pic). No cost-cutting by the company on that. -Range varies drastically since it takes into account one's recent driving score. I usually get 350 on the display but the practical city range without AC comes to 250-270 on a full home charge. With AC it goes 30km less. -I recently even took it out for a 250km highway ride and had to fast charge it at 2 of the stations ( usually 1% /min.). A very good stable ride, body roll is minimal, straight-line ride is handled with ease. Even went through smoothly on submerged roads without any issues! No steering wheel vibrations till 100km/hr speed. I obtained -250kms on both sides with 80% of the drive being without AC! PROS:- 1) A great city car, easy to turn and maneuver. In jams/ramps on leaving the accelerator, it will glide forward til 5km/hr speed, just use the handbrake. 2)If one uses govt. a subsidy on solar, charging becomes free too. 3) Haven't seen a petrol pump in months. 4)Fast pick-up, 5)3 regeneration modes. Use 3 in the city, and it becomes just a "one-pedal drive". 6) Employ "COASTING" meaning push the accelerator in such a way that the car's display shows 0 acceleration and deceleration and lets the car glide. AEC improves drastically. Works best with Regen 1 on highways. 7) Keeping the AEC (~RPM) under the 100 n range will drastically improve. ( Use AC in economy mode @26°C). 8)Tata's mobile app is good for checking battery status, charging, geo-fencing n weekly/monthly All-India driving scores, and ranking. 9) Good legroom and headroom in all seats 10) The boot floor is flat and can keep 2 suitcases. 11) An excellent city car n good for small distances of ~100 kms. Costs max 1-1.5 rupees/km if home charged! As compared to 7-8/km for petrol. 12) No visible emissions but yes charging does use electricity that is produced by burning fossils!! 13) The company gives 8 8-year battery warranty meaning they will replace free of cost any misfiring battery part tip that time. 14) Good sound Harman system. 15) Regeneration is good for brakes and also for one's foot. Though I wish they could give some braking light with it for vehicles behind you CONS:-1) One may find workmanship issues with spaces in bonnet and door boundaries that lead to seepage of rain. water 2) Headlights are poor in throw n focus 3)Since it's an EV, they ask to abstain from any aftermarket electrical work that may hamper the warranty. 4)Inside they have used white plastic that gets dirty easily. 5) Gear knobs n other controls are very dimly lit at nite 6) Door pockets are stingy, only able to hold a 1/2 liter bottle. 7) The charging area tiny door is delicate to work with! 8)No spare tyre but they do give a tyre puncture repair kit. 9) Poor design of driver's seat. Get back pain on driving for a long. The headrest won't ever touch one's head. 10) Definite range anxiety if one wishes to travel out. But by using apps like plug share, image, job, and static one can plan the chargers. Yes, tata advertises the car only as a city car. 11) Resale value is poor. But EVs r bought for long-term prospects! 12) Wonder why navigation can only be used with mobile being wired to the system! 13) While using the radio, navigation sound won't come through speakers!! 14) The central back view mirror is too small. 15) The driver driver-side sideview mirror field is too small. Though it can be altered from inside but gets jammed multiple times !! 16) App services are only free for 1st year, then 3500/year which is exorbitant! TIPS:- Keep the car in the shade to keep the battery running well. Keep AEC (~RPM ) under 100 to get a good range. Be gentle with the accelerator and braking. Keep car tidy and less burdened with excess weight. Use regen 3 in the city and Accelerator bars in levels 1-2 Charge at home till 100%. Use coasting as mentioned earlier.

I have purchased the vehicle on 22 Feb. It has already been sent to the service centre twice. The first time, there was an issue with the fasteners of the vehicle. The dashboard was loose and was moving when riding on bumps. There was some weird sound from the left side of the vehicle. It was fixed within a day. After one more week, the vehicle key was not working. The vehicle was not responding to anything. This kind of product is not expected from Tata. I was sceptical about purchasing a Tata car and I regret it now. I wonder how many issues I will get over a few years.

The buying experience was not at all satisfying. Took 4 months to get the vehicle delivered and there were no proper updates during the waiting period from the Tata sales executives. The driving experience is far better than manual or automatic cars in this range. The overall looks are okay, can be better. The Interior is good. Servicing and maintenance cost is less when compared to petrol and diesel cars. Pros. 1. Decent range, above 220kms 2. Driving costs less than petrol two-wheelers, 90 paise/km 3. Super silent car 4. Comfortable seats Cons. 1. Top variant is overpriced 2. Range can be 50+ more 3. Slow charging is way too slow. 4. Need 3-phase connection to fix fast charger at home(Tata executive told me this on the delivery date, could have informed earlier so I could have opted for the variant without fast charger and save 50k).

I am owning Tiago EV Long range XT. Range claims are defined to 315 kms. In every charge it shows me 130 kms to 170 kms maximum range in last 50 days. Actual range running is around 150 kms average with AC on and regen 3 with city driving. Depreciation is more than 50%. Talking about quality. While driving on first day.. the driver breakpad catches smokes.. which can be visible on wheel cover. Indicator was not turning off after taking back steering back to normal. The two problems were fixed, by replacement of both the parts. Now my vehicle is in service center from past 7 days for motor replacement.

Interior and exterior look similar to ICE model. It is a great car for those who drive 30 to 40 km on a daily basis. Best for traffic roads. Far better than other models of the same price. Driving experience is very nice. If you drive properly, the range will exceed.
