The first thing I noticed was the strong road presence, and it looks bold, modern, and definitely turns heads. Inside, the cabin feels spacious with a clean dashboard layout and large windows that give an airy feel. The seats were well-cushioned, making the drive comfortable even in city traffic. Performance-wise, the car felt smooth and stable. Acceleration was responsive, and it didn’t struggle during overtakes. The steering felt light at low speeds, which helped in traffic, but remained stable on open roads. Suspension did a good job over speed breakers and rough patches, keeping bumps under control. I also liked the driving position with high enough to give a commanding view of the road. The infotainment system looked modern and easy to use. Overall, the Tata Sierra felt like a practical yet stylish SUV, suitable for both daily driving and longer trips. It balances comfort, performance, and design quite well.

The "Alpine" Vibe: Tata absolutely nailed the design. That wrap-around rear glass is a massive throwback to the OG Sierra, but the flush door handles and the 17mm "Light Sabre" LED bars make it look like it just rolled off a sci-fi movie set. The Lounge Experience: The "Lounge Concept" interior is legit. I opted for the 4-seater version with the rear-seat thigh extenders—it feels more like a private jet than a mid-size SUV. Tech Overload: The 5G connectivity is snappy. I’ve already done two OTA updates in a month without any glitches. The HypAR HUD (Heads-Up Display) with AR navigation is a game-changer for Mumbai traffic—no more looking down at the 12.3-inch screen. Punchy Engine: The 1.5L Kryojet diesel has enough grunt. It’s not a race car, but the 280Nm torque makes overtakes on the highway effortless. The Bad The Wait is Real: I booked mine in December, and the 4-month waiting period was a test of patience. Apparently, the base 'Smart Plus' variants have a 6-month wait now! Size Matters: It’s a bit of a tank. Parallel parking in tight spots is tricky, even with the 360-degree camera. Mileage: Don't expect miracles. In heavy city traffic, the 1.5L turbo-petrol guys are seeing about 9-11 kmpl. My diesel is slightly better at 14 kmpl on the highway. Verdict If you grew up wanting a Sierra, this is the ultimate nostalgia trip with 2026 tech. It’s built like a vault and turns more heads than a luxury German car. If you can handle the waiting period, go for it. Otherwise, maybe wait a few months for the Sierra.ev if you want lower running costs!

Very disappointed with the Tata Sierra. The vehicle focuses too much on technology and features but ignores the most important thing — power and driving performance. The engine feels underpowered, especially during overtaking or when driving on highways. Mileage is also not as good as expected for this segment. Only adding screens and technology is not enough; a vehicle should also deliver strong performance and good fuel efficiency. Overall, the driving experience does not match the expectations.

Tata Sierra is a bold and exciting SUV that pushes the boundaries in its segment. It’s stylistically striking, tech-forward, and well-equipped for family life. While early quality control and refinement concerns remain, many buyers will find the Sierra a compelling all-rounder, especially in higher trims with turbo power and loaded features. I say this because one look at the vehicle and you will go Wow.TATA means Promise, Assurance and Quality, so the features are super duperstic. For AMT under 20 lakhs, fighting with other bigger vehicles is something that this vehicle is doing. I wish I could own this one. Kudos to TATA again for building this Super Sonic vehicle.

Front stance of SUV looks fantastic, the Sierra looks premium upgrade those who look for safety and performance of a diesel engine, although I do not like it from back, but all connected lights setup given by Tata needs appreciation. Overall good package.

Overpriced and UnderPowered Car as compared to the old Sierra. Not even close to Creta. Power Matters.... after old safari look Tata again done that with old legend #Sierra disappointing for its lack of power, as the base petrol engine is a naturally aspirated, lower-output Atkinson cycle model, which is not ideal for a vehicle of its size. Smaller than expected: The new model is expected to be significantly smaller than the original Sierra, which may be a letdown for those who remember the original's larger, more imposing presence.

People saying it's rare to find a car with this much versatility and 5g connection are good ground clearance, and suitable for Indian roads, value for money in the new statement
