Absolute experience. You don't feel that you're driving. Range is also quite good as I drive 122 km from battery 97% to 59%. Acceleration was amazing and so smooth. Costly little bit, but in this range, you'll get a luxury feel.

I recently booked the Tata Punch EV, and I’m eagerly waiting for its delivery. Here’s my initial take based on what I’ve seen and heard so far: Pros: Affordable Electric Option: As an electric vehicle, the Punch EV is a great choice for anyone looking to switch to electric without breaking the bank. It’s priced competitively, making it accessible for a middle-class family like ours. Good for City Driving: The compact size of the Punch EV makes it perfect for urban commuting. It’s easy to manoeuvre and park, ideal for daily city driving. Family-Friendly Features: It has a decent amount of space for small families. The cabin is practical and comfortable, with enough room for kids and gear. The boot space also looks sufficient for weekend trips. Low Running Costs: Being an EV, the cost to charge is much lower compared to fuel costs. This makes it a more economical choice for long-term use. Cons: Limited Range: While it's good for daily commutes, the range might not be sufficient for long road trips. It’s best suited for those who mainly drive within the city. Charging Infrastructure: Although charging stations are growing, they might not be as widespread as fuel stations. It’s something to keep in mind if you live in a more remote area. Overall: For anyone looking to move to an electric car, especially those on a budget, the Tata Punch EV seems like a solid option. It’s practical, affordable, and ideal for city life. I’m excited to receive mine and see how it performs in real-world conditions.

It's a well-rounded package, but a few things which could have been improved are that the steering response is not good. For the top variant, the sunroof and dual-tone exterior are not optional. I'm not sure India's hot climate is sunroof-friendly. Missing rear AC vents, which are present in ICE. No spare wheel in the boot. Seat belt alarm without a sensor.

My buying experience was okay as my car had certain issue when it was delivered to me. TATA being tata, as they need to improve on thier service delivery. My pre-delivery checks were poor. However, car performance for my first 1000 kms is satisfying and best in class.

The Tata Punch EV is a standout choice for those seeking a compact yet feature-rich electric SUV, particularly with its 2026 updates that offer improved battery options and a real-world range of up to 250 km on this variant.

After spending some time with my recently purchased Tata Punch EV. I wanted to share a quick review for prospective buyers. What I Love: Driving Dynamics: The instant power delivery is addictive. City traffic is no longer stressful, and Sport mode is a blast. Premium Cabin: The dashboard layout with the dual-screen setup looks like it belongs in a car segment above. Wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay works seamlessly. Ride Comfort and Safety: It handles potholes with ease thanks to the solid suspension and tall SUV stance. The robust build quality gives immense confidence. Running Costs: Charging it at home costs a fraction of what I used to spend on petrol. Things to Note: Rear seat space is ideal for two adults comfortably; a third passenger makes it a bit tight. Tata's public charging network is growing fast, but you still need to plan long road trips in advance to map out reliable fast chargers. Verdict: It’s easily one of the best value-for-money electric cars on the market right now. If you're on the fence about switching to an EV, take a test drive.

The car is good in a budget range, and the features are loaded by Tata. Colour variations should be better, and add a panoramic sunroof to include the luxury in a budget model. The range varies during traffic and highway driving. This car is still better in the other segments. The overall driving comfort is also nice. Being a compact car, this also gives ease while driving in the cities and in
