With mixed usage, the overall fuel efficiency has been quite satisfying and one of the reasons I prefer this car for daily use. Comfort is another area where the Altroz really stands out. The suspension handles bad roads quite well, and you don’t feel too many bumps inside the cabin. Even on longer drives, the seats remain comfortable, and there is enough space for passengers, which makes it suitable for family use as well. The interior is simple and practical. It may not feel the most premium compared to some rivals, but everything is placed well and easy to use. Even after 18,000 km, I haven’t faced any major rattling or quality issues, which shows that the car is built to last. In terms of maintenance, the experience has been decent so far. Regular servicing hasn’t been too expensive, and I haven’t faced any major problems with the car. The service experience depends a bit on the service centre, but overall, it has been manageable. One of the main reasons I went for this car was safety, and that confidence is still there. The car feels planted on highways and gives a sense of control, which is very important during long drives. There are a few things that could have been better. The initial pickup could be smoother, especially in city conditions, and the engine could feel a bit more refined. The infotainment system also feels slightly outdated compared to newer cars. Overall, after using the Tata Altroz Diesel for 18,000 km, I can say it has been a dependable and practical car. It may not be the most exciting to drive, but it does its job well with good mileage, comfort, and strong build quality.
