Just took delivery of the Kushaq and I’m really impressed. The drive is smooth, the interiors feel premium, and the facelift gives the exterior a clean, refined look. The handling around turns and braking is solid, and the AC performance has improved significantly. The only slight downside is the centre AC console, which can be a bit annoying.

I was confused between Seltos, Creta, Thar, Roxx, and Kushaq. I didn't select Creta because everyone is buying it. Seltos is good and big in size, but lacks features in the base model. Thar Rox is good for off-road and fans, but it was difficult for me to come out and go into the car for information. My height is 6 feet plus. I already drove Creta, Harrier, and even Honda City, but when I drove this car and when the turbo hits feel is different. Easy to drive hits three digits easily. I recommend at least taking a test drive. Because Kushaq was not on my list, just one day before I saw it on youtube next day take the test drive and booked the car. I am giving only a short-term review, and I enjoyed the car.

The Skoda Kushaq 2025 1.0 TSI MT offers a solid ownership experience focused on driving feel and safety. The 1.0-litre turbo petrol (115 hp) feels peppy once the turbo kicks in, making highway drives enjoyable, though there is slight lag at low RPMs.Ride and handling are standout strengths—firm yet comfortable, with great stability and steering feedback, typical of Skoda cars. The cabin feels premium enough, but interior plastics and rear seat width could disappoint at this price. In daily use, expect real-world mileage around 12–16 km/l, though city traffic can drop it significantly due to the turbo engine. Service costs are moderate, and Skoda’s 4-year standard warranty adds peace of mind. Overall, it’s a driver-focused SUV with strong safety and dynamics, but not the most practical or fuel-efficient option in heavy city usage.

Skoda Kushaq 1 litre TSI 8-speed AT taken in Gurudev Motors, Annanagad Ambattur, after taking a test drive without any waiting period. The car impressed me a lot in various aspects. It feels a little overpowered in B-to-B traffic. After driving my Skoda Kushaq for nearly 2000+ km, I can confidently say this car gives a premium and confidence-inspiring driving experience. I mainly use it for Chennai city traffic between Anna Nagar and Perungudi, and also for occasional long highway trips. What I liked the most was the highway stability and comfort. Even at higher speeds, the car feels planted and safe. Steering feedback is excellent, brakes are sharp, and the suspension handles bad roads quite well without making passengers uncomfortable. The AC performance is very good even in Chennai's heat, and the cabin feels solid and well-built. The automatic transmission is smooth in city driving and relaxed during highway cruising. Coming to the biggest surprise — mileage! I managed to get close to 20 km/l on highways with smooth driving and controlled speeds, which I honestly didn’t expect from a turbo petrol SUV. In heavy city traffic, mileage is naturally lower, but the driving pleasure makes up for it. After crossing 2200 in just one month, the car gives mileage of 11 with B to B traffic, initially it 8 gives only 8kmpl. In Kodaikanal hills, 8, sometimes 10, but while climbing down ii started increasing from 11, finally after crossing Trichy bypass, it returned 20 kmpl with a speed of 100 to 110 under 2000 rpm. While going to Kodaikanal before climbing hills, it returns 17.2, then drops to 12, 13. Their high traffic B to B 7.6, 8 kmpl. Things to improve: Slight turbo lag in bumper-to-bumper traffic initially Rear seat space is decent, but not the widest in the segment. Service and spare costs may feel slightly premium compared to Maruti or Hyundai. Overall, the Kushaq feels like a proper driver-focused SUV with strong build quality, safety, comfort, and impressive highway performance. If someone wants a fun-to-drive and premium-feeling car for both city and long drives, this is definitely worth considering. Before taking Kushaq, I haven't seen First Nexon and Elevate. Then Sonet and Syros, then 3xo, fronx, then Venue and Kylaq, then finally Seltos. Mainly consider the cost, only Kushaq is the value for money with 15.60 lakhs on road, the only negative is no reverse camera and not fuel efficient in the city.. Sometimes too powerful in bumper to bumper, initially can't control this, now it's ok.

If you have driven Germancars for long then you understand there is no comparison between other cars. Though u will drive a mid-segment car the feel is luxury. From long time, German cars have not been modernised from the inside in terms of features compared to Tata

I recently purchased a Kushaq Sportline facelift. The car is good, and the driving experience is excellent, but the mileage is somewhat less—around 12 to 14 L/100 km on the highway and below 10 L/100 km in the city.

This was my second car. Being a common person I personally believe in performance, global star rating and mileage, but when i purchased this car I really feel the difference. The engine is very nice, pickup-wise, also good. Apart from that, the safety and style of the car have also more than expectation.
