Toyota Innova Crysta [2016-2020] User Reviews

I purchased Innova Crysta Silver GX (8) about 40 days ago and travelled around 1700 kms.

Exterior

Lookwise the Car is excellent, On one sight it attracts all people. Front bold looks and dashing rear is superb.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

Very good comfortable seats, even I drove with 10 persons on board (My family and my sister family) for about 350 kms and everybody was feeling so comfortable.

All required features like Cooled glove box, Tilt and telescopic steering, MIS for driver, AC vents for all rows, driver arm rest, head rest for all passengers are avaiable.

Few features which are required but not there are music system (Can buy from open market), speed sensing auto door lock, charging port in 3rd row and reverse camera (Can buy from open market).

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

It has three modes of driving Eco, Normal and Power, I didn't see any huge millege difference in each mode but pick up difference is huge, Normal mode is the best way of driving as it never lacks for sudden power and also gives good fuel efficiency, during overtaking and on hills driving, Power mode can be used. I am getting fuel economy of 16 km/litre on highway and 10 ~ 11 in city driving, overall it comes to 15 + .

Gear changing is very smooth, howerver, Gear changing ratio is too short as you would be needing to change the gears even in change of speed of 20km/hr to get good fuel economy, 1st gear : upto 20 km/hr, 2nd gear : upto 40 km/ hr, 3rd gear : upto 50~60 km/hr, 4th gear upto 80 km/hr and 5th onwards.

 

 

Ride Quality & Handling

 Suspension is also very good, minor pot holes never pass on inside the car.

Areas of improvement  

Toyota could have been added 2 speakers for 3rd row (it is already having 4 speakers in GX), a charging port and speed sensing auto lock in GX variant.

As we are having a travel company,we frequently require new cars.So I can assure that Toyota will surely surprise you by their mode of approach.Like certain other brands,Toyota never forced us to take their car after an enquiry or test drive. We are having Toyota etios,Innova and Innova Crysta. Now,about the Innova crysta..it is a car that you are truly going to love.Toyota has loaded all those features that the old Innova lacked.its going to give you and awesome driving experience.we can actually feel the powerful engine under the hood.with the power mode on,overtaking has become much simpler.The cabin is very silent and feels like floating on the road.the vehicle is also very stylish and has a sporty look.we have a very good interior with ample space.we get more than enough cup holders.we get great leg room even in the back row.the ac is excellent and cools very fast indeed.Braking,acceleration and handling improved a lot on comparing with the old Innova.so it performs really well. The service and maintenance cost of the Innova Crysta is slightly higher than the innova but still it's not so heavy like the others in the segment.Toyota gives the best service and customer satisfaction and the cars are highly durable.You can rely on Toyota cars for any long rides as they won't let you down so easily.Probably that's one of the reason where Toyota outsmarts the other brands.Even if they give warranty upto some lakhs of kms,I bet their cars can be used for lifetime under proper maintenance. Pros of Innova Crysta: 1.silent cabin 2.very spaceous.high storage capacity 3.powerful engine 4.stunning design 5.strong body frame 6.gives really nice mileage (compared with others in segment) 7.the quality of Toyota parts is just outstanding 8.great driving experience with really nice performance 9.value for money 10.easy to maintain Cons: 1.for a long term innova(old) user,the Crysta feels uncomfortable with gutters as the shock absorbers are more hard.(These can be reduced by adjusting shock absorbers) 2.the lower variants come with no fog lights.(not a big miss).but they do provide alloy wheels and stereo with steering controls in newer models. So my car has done almost 60000kms now and I don't felt any other drawbacks except these two...But these 2 can be corrected if you have an additional 10k RS. My opinion is just go for it and don't turn back.toyota is never gonnna let you down.

It's car very comfortable for uses also car pickup very shortly. Lite services maintenance shortly thanks for its opinion. Nice car and also good car my family and friends also used is car. I purchase this car in dec 2017. I have Got best experience from it. It is wonderful Car with very low maintenance. Me & my family love cryta. I have driven this car 100000km but it is very smooth.

Buying experience: Was having options like xuv, jeep compass nd this innova. So this was the best option among all this nd therefore i decided to buy it
Riding experience: Super comfortable car. With good amount of head room, knee room and leg room. There are also decent amount of features in this car
Details about looks, performance etc: Stylish headlights. Durable body. The cabin could have been much more better
Servicing and maintenance: In every 3 months. As my car runs more
Pros and Cons: Everything is good but the cabin still needs to be improved. The engine is super awesome but the makers should focus on mileage. It gives a very low mileage of about 8-10 in city and 10-12 on highway

Buying experience: My budget is not that much for innova crysta but first I check Maruti ertiga old that fit in my budget but not value for money less space then I check tata hexa but it is not MPV car so I drop it then the new launched mahindra marazzo that car is so amazing completely fit in budget over car is good nice MPV but big drawback is less performance then goes to innova crysta that company is little luxurious cars too and I like that car in first sight I take it

Riding experience: Ride feels Good for City driving but on the Highways it tends to feel a bit bouncy and there is Good amount of Body role as well!
Details about looks, performance etc: Looks Great and offers good performance for the 2.4 liter Engine. If I had to Nitpick, I would say the side profile could have been better.
Servicing and maintenance: Service is Excellent as it's a Toyota. Full Marks to Toyota for their Hospitality and Service.
Pros and Cons: I love the Build Quality, Comfort and Power of My Car. However I dislike the long Clutch Action and I expected a 6 Speed Gearbox which is slick to use and could have helped in improving the efficiency of the Car!

I bought the legend reborn toyota innova crysta 2.4GX.the performance is awsome and value for the money,fuel consumption is very atractive in town and highways.it makes you feel that not to get down the vehicle on cruising it looks like flight takeoff on the run way and glimpses you the pride and respect. Thank u toyota

When i see Innova i just got mad its look interior exterior look dam god . Its performance while driving is very comfortable and feels like king on road when someone ask me for 10 lakh above model i always suggest Innova and this is very perfect for all love u Innova
