Exterior Enough has been written in glorious words about looks of the Evoque. It's probably the most aggressive styling on the road . How these looks will age is something only time can tell but for now, they are a hit (with me!)

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The driver and co-drivers seats are extremely comfortable. I have driven for hours without having the slightest back problem (not that I have one!) but one one of the previous cars I have owned comfort is what you sacrificed for driving pleasure.  The seats and steering heat up quickly and comfortably if you are driving in cold weather and need a quick heating. AC and sound is zone-specific and very effective. In built GPS works great and there are more than enough options for connectivity of phone and music.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I drive an automatic. The 2014 model comes with a nine speed automatic transmission from ZF - that's the dry detail. What it means on the road is that this is the most delightful transmission I have driven. The car roars as one floors the accelerator at 40 and before I know it has reached 140 with an aggressive poise offering a great sense of control.

Ride Quality & Handling The feel of the road is the right combination of comfort for the passenger and excitement for the driver.  The car corners extremely well at high speeds. On busy city roads, there's a quiet sense of control where this tamed animal feels like the easiest thing to handle.

Final Words It’s a purchase that is a delight for me and for family. I required a minor software upgrade after purchase but the LR service was fantastic! Cars will have problems but they don't feel heavy with good service.

Areas of improvement I would like the rear window to be bigger. However, it does not feel as small from inside as it does from outside. The view is constrained but not much.

A lot of space is created by folding the rear seats but driver + 3 in the car there could be more space in the boot. But the length change requires a whole new model and will probably make this a not-so-compact or not-so-sporty SUV.

The most important feature the product lacks is voice control. I would like to see that coming soon (as a software upgrade?) because without voice control luxury isn't complete. Well, I would say with Siri and Google Voice everywhere, voice control isn't even luxury.
