      Warning: Pathetic car when it comes to mileage. The average in city roads is close to 9 kmpl and Honda claims it to be 18kmpl under test conditions. You should go for a Verna instead. 

      Even high end cars like Audi or BMW gives a better mileage.  Honda after sales service is also hopeless and contradicts their sales pitch that on road it will give an average of 14kmpl. It is just sales stunt to lure customers.

      I was initially said the mileage will increase after service but all the 3 free services and infact the average has gone down.

      I got cheated you please dont.

      I had a Honda City manual before and upgraded to automatic and made the biggest mistake. The claim by Honda is Automatic will give more mileage as it is CVT technology which a sales gimmick 

      If you don’t believe me visit a Honda showroom a speak to a sales guy.

      1.Buying experience is very good.Communication and handling was well,take care of documentation and pays. 2.Driving is very comfort and feel free handling. 3.It's look with lots of sharp cuts and curves.It has a unique identification of front view and side view. Leg room is spacious.Enough boot space.Performance for gentle use is too good. 4.Service is little higher than other cars in same segment.While buying car they said service average 7k but its comes around 10k to 11k. 5.Pros: Premium look,spacious pretty and decent family car.cons:Not for off roads,rough terrains,Service maintenance little higher.

      we have very bed experience about Honda city vcvt, mileage is very poor in petrol , accessories wise also very poor, over all car service also poor, performance wise i am not happy very bed , after sales service very poor till today i am facing mileage problems . i advise for you please purchase other brands.

    • Best automatic car! CVT is too good...

      I recently bought VCVT petrol model and drove 300 plus km within the city... Buooooy this is the best Automatic car , this has enough power to drive and plenty of space! This beats the competition in all the area. One should see the engine performance and reliability, don't get carried away with the styling and features of other cars in the market. If you are looking for a petrol car I would strongly suggest you to go for Honda City, if you can stretch a bit go for Automatic. This ca will not disappoint you for sure. Now I am getting a mileage in between 9.5 to 10 in pure city driving am sure this will increase going g forward and ideally Automatic should give a mileage between 11 to 13 KM. Incremental 3 to 4 km in highway for sure. This sedan is ruling the segment for last 20 years! This is for a reason and you will realise it once you own it.. close your eyes and go for this car... You will just love it...

      Bought VCVT petrol on june 1 2018. Enjoying ever since. I used to own WagonR previously. Sure, milage is a casuality, but then every thing else is at premium. I guess premium stuff is never cheap. Every other vehical is designed for a purpose. Identify your purpose of buying a car. And u get exactly that. For me, 1.5 li petrol engine, help beat nagging traffic. AVN Digipad 1.0 with internet facility is awsome. Interiors are spacious, and is class apart, from any other offerings.

      The mileage is like 10 to 13 .. but on highway it's 17 to 19. Had a blast owning this vehicle ,the VTech motor is the best petrol motors by a long shot. The VTech kicks in about 5 k or 6 k rpms .the looks are stunning and it looks extremely angry. The service need to be better ... Pros 1 seat comfortable best in class 2 driving dynamic spot on 3 very good audio system Cons 1 poor infotainment system the worst in it's class 2 some hard plastics 3 build quality needs improvement --------- But any how this vehicle is a true flagship for Honda in This segment

      Now it has been 10 months driving this car. Liked it, but some issue are cropping. The sound system and iPad as well as GPS and small chip in the car become dysfunctional if your car is parked under the sun. They behave erratically, all of them. When you need GPS suddenly because the dash baoard is hot, neither music nor GPS will work.

      Second, every bump, there will be a sound from the dash board, seems like something is not quite fixed and sturdy.

      A sound has started to come from the inside of front door.

      Even when the car was serviced, the guys in the service center made dimples in the car.

      Rest I liked the car so far, but everytime I take it to the road, I feel shying away from the other cars.

      Good styleVery fragile and gives you feeling of "keep it out of range of bad boys"

    • Excellent Mileage Honda City CVT V

      I brought a new City last month and I drove the car nearly 1000 KMs and completed My First Service. This is my first review regarding City after my purchase and I thought that I must write a review. I own CVT V Petrol and I have proved of an average of 18,9 KM/Hour in the high way, while on the way to CIAL and Back from my home town. Normal milage in my village I used to get 13-14 Km/hour, and I am much happy about the mileage and I am getting the same or little more what is being promised by Honda.

      Buying a car brings a sense of fulfilment and pride and a car should appeal as much to heart as it does to your head . Good space , relaxed cvt , decent mileage ,promise of Honda service Are things that appeal to your head but it’s the sweet ivtec with handling and body control and styling that pulls your heart strings.thougj I wish the quality of plastics could be better and Honda should price the car atleast a lakh cheaper . At this price six airbags is a must

      Some things I like and dislike GOOD Exterior styling Interior space and looks of dashboard BAD Too much noise in car, both engine noise and road noise. Bad ride quality, even smallest of road imperfection is felt. Bad ride comfort. Digital display is laggy and not compatible with mobile. Mirror link word is used to fool customers. Honda customer service is just a postman service, that forwards complaints to dealers, without any response from them. In fact they do not bother about customer feedback. Honda service cost is high 4rth gen city has service interval of 6 months and also 1 year, depending on the date of manufacture. So funny. No wonder they are loosing market with every passing year.
