I purchased the Renault Triber with mixed feelings - I wanted a 7 seater for the occasional full family ride, an automatic was preferred as my daughter could also drive and finally I wanted this to be inexpensive as I believe any car purchased now will have low resale value given the slow but sure market shift towards electric. I read reviews about the Triber's otherwise good package marred by a mediocre engine (999 CC) and Renault's hit or miss service experience. After now living with the top end model, I am happy to share that the Triber has exceeded all my expectations. The car is super light to drive, the top end trim has many bells and whistles that are usually not present at this price range. Admittedly, Renault could have plonked a Turbo engine or a 1.2 L engine for a better experience but I am guessing that will up the price by another Lakh or so. The AMT is now really smooth and the change of gear rations is hardly noticeable (I am guessing improved software). Overall I think this car is a gem and should be a strong contender in the entry level MPV space.

Unbiased Opinion - Triber is a great car.

Have bought a Triber RXZ model recently. Let me shatter the myths about the vehicle - engine noise, low mileage, engine underpowered. This was what I heard while evaluating this car. None of this is true - bearable cabin noise just as in other cars, giving 13 km/l even before first servicing and engine feels good. It takes a short time to get adjusted to any engine - and it is true for this car also. It is a great family car with the necessary features for creature comfort especially the RXT and RXZ models. If you are in any confusion - my recommendation - Go for it.

The Sales Executives need to get rid of the car from Renault Showroom.Under 60Kmph it's great.Look wise big but performance I would have given minus Star Rating.Too expensive.Just one leg room.Day time only front view will be visible,rest all corners have blind spots barely visible.Night time Just front view feels like you are in flight with only visibility ahead 60 Degree.Visibility rest 300degees is opaque performance:When AC is Off 60kmph is smooth without overtaking.When AC is ON even 40Kmph makes you feel you are a bad driver as well as owner.Overtaking dont even think about it.AMT its worst on Various conditions.Hill Climb and Overtaking fakes Mileage on cluster.Just a big Car, which you can convert to a food truck and delivery wagon.Just front is visible rest i would say 98% opaque.

I am driving Top model RXZ Amt, which is having all features a car must-have. Servicing cost is also marginal. Comfort is good, pros are the space and features, cons is the pickup for amt version.

Good marketed but badly designed.

Car has very low power engine. I did test drive of automatic varient with 5 occupants including me. Car had so less power that it was vibrating badly. Pick up was also very bad. 1000cc engine for such bulky car is not good. Also they told that we can't install seat cover due curtain type air bags.

A Complete Family Car with boot space. Excellent version by Renault.

Affordable Car ,perfect for family, boot space and looks are good and performance is excellent. Value for buying and servicing and maintenance is good .Mileage must be more than 20.

Good for family use. Good road grip. City mileage below 10. Highway 14+. Good car .good space. Nil engine noise. Amt is good option for ladies. Overall works good. Thanks Renault.

I bought this car under 8.5 lacs. And it is really worth it. I have 4 members in my family and this car is spacious for us.. I loved its design and performance.. Just wanted to tell one thing that does not take it as a seven-seater.5-6 people will sit in comfort... And more than that will make it conjugated.. Overall rating 3.5/5
