Exterior Nice, exact french design,very good appaeal on the road, good fit finish including paint jobs. The headlamps and rearlamps looks diffrent.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Space is awsome, even for six feet guy can sit comfortably at rear even the seats are pulled back,good comfort, especialy rear seats with under thigh support as well.Many features are frech like audio controlls are behind the steering wheel.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearb Nice angine with variable geometry turbo, responsive, execellent fuel economy getting over 18KMPL at 2000 km, Gear box is a smooth. When the turbo strats the engine delivering tremendous power making  whistles in higher speeds.

Ride Quality & Handling Very good ride and handling, especially with poth-holed roads and bumps.Drriven through all bad n hilly roads. Steering is a fantasic,Excellent stability at higher speeds and also well weighted one.

Final Words A very good European car with all practaicality for indian market like fuel economy, space, ride quality, ground clearence,and also french design at good price.

Areas of improvement In petrol version having all the goodies, but some of them are missing in diesel ,like parking sensors USB port .

1. I am Ritesh Yadav from Bagdogra, Siliguri, West Bengal.

2. I had booked a Renault Fluence E4 dieselat Sky Wheels Pvt. Ltd., Renault Showroom, Siliguri, West Bengal-734001 on 22 Sep 12. It was booked in the name of my wife Mrs Neha Dhawale by paying an amount of Rs. 3,29,542.

3. At the time of booking, MD of this show room Mr. Anand Agarwal promised that car will be delivered on 15 Oct 12. Till 15 Oct 12 there was no information from showroom that car will not be delivered on 15 Oct 12.

4. When I reached the Showroom on 15 Oct 12, the reactions of various attendant at showroom were:

(a) Sir don’t worry your car will be given to you before Diwali (13 Nov 12).

(b) Other said “Because Pooja (Dussehra) is coming it will be given around that time only”

(c) Other said “It will take time so if you want take back your booking amount back take it. Whenever your car will come we will inform you”

5. After that day they stopped picking up my calls and never called back. Then I went to the showroom again on 20 Oct 12. That time they promised that car has been released from Chennai, Tamilnadu and it will be delivered to me on 28 Oct 12. Now on 27 Oct 12, they are not sure when they are going to deliver the car.

6. As customer care/satisfaction point, are following:

(a) They are not informing me any time that they will not be able to deliver me the car on time.

(b) Whenever I am calling them they are not picking up my call as they have saved my number. To ascertain this thing I first called from my number they did not pick my call, then I called them using my friends number . Now they picked up the call.

(c) So they are not calling me and on top of that they are not picking up my call. So is this policy of customer care of Renault?

Exterior WHEN U DRIVES AND IT COMPELLS SOMEBODY TO SEE IT,GIVES A PROUD TO BE OWNED IT AND CREDIT GOES TO IT'S CUTY BUTY EXTERIORS.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) ALTHOUGH UPHOLSTRY IS OF SUPERIOR QUALITY EVEN THEN NOT UPTO MARK.NO DOUBT ITS QUITE SPACIOUS AND COMFORTABLE FOR LONG JOURNEY BUT MIDDLE SEAT AT REAR BENCH IS NOT COMFORTABLE IF U WANT TO ACCOMODATE THREE.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I M NOT HAVING MUCH TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE BUT ON THE BASIS OF EXPERIENCE OF 10 DIFFERENT VEHICLES I CAN SAY THAT NO OTHER VEHICLE CAN BE COMPARED IN PICK UP AND TRACTION CONTROL. ENGINE CAN BE SAID AS LITTLE NOISY BUT NOT INSIDE.

Ride Quality & Handling SUPERB AS I COVERED 12OOO KMS JUST SINCE 20TH JULY, FEELING OF SAFETY COMES AUTOMATICALLY.

Final Words CONSISTENT, SAFE AND HEAVY BUILT GIVING ME MILAGE OF 14-17 IN CITY AND 16-18.5 ON HIGHWAY.

Areas of improvement NEW VERIANT OF DIESAL IS ALREADY ON THE WAY BUT CERTAINLY, EVEN FOR EXISTING CUSTOMERS UPGRADATION IN MUSIC SYSTEM ESPICIALLY RE USB AND SPEAKERS IS MUST. IM NT SATISFIED WITH WIPERS ALSO.COMPANY'S PR IS EXCELLENT BUT POOR DEALERSHIP IS A MINUS POINT.

NO COMPARE OF ITS RUNNING,SPACIOUS,FUEL ECONOMYINTERIORS,REAR SEAT DISCOMFORT & WIPERS

Exterior Execellent. Nothing to complain

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very specious. Best cabin space in this segment. Instument panel is very attractive and stylish. I simply like it. 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox It will just say Wow!!!..amazing pickup and engine power. 106 ps for 1461cc engine. It's awesome. Initial pickup is little bit less till 1000-1500 rpm but I think it's applicable for every disel engine. You can't compare with a Petrol engine. Gearbox is really smooth and perfectly tuned. In city you can get 15-16 km/l and in highway 19-20 easily.

Ride Quality & Handling Again wow!!!...I drove in the Bangalore city as well as Bangalore-Hyderabad highway. Its amaging dear...easily touch 150-160. you will not face any problem. Solid build quality and amazing handling. Suspension is also very good in rear sit.

Final Words Nothing to complain. Only price I think is little bit in higher side. But if you want real driving pleasure and can spend 14-15 lakh. close your eyes, go for it.

Areas of improvement Nothing. only my concern is Renault network should be improved in India. Also they should focus on reducing the servicing cost. Renault doesn't have any free service. Only you will get 2nd, 10th and 20th service is Labour free. Servicing cost is approx 7000-8000 per year.

Looks, Performance, StyleNothing

 

Exterior Best in class looks if you like italian styling then you will surely like french styling as well because fashion leads in Italy and France eg. If you like the Fiat Linea then you are definitely going to like Renault Fluence it is not a typical simpe looking car its a chic in looks.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Best in class right now it has all the features of Skoda Laura VW Jetta And Chevrolet Cruze Space and comfort is better then the Toyota Corolla Altis because having a wheelbase of 2703 interiors are top noctch.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox 137 horsepower 2.0L engine sufficient for this segment buyers the most amazing thing the automatic transmission in manual mode but i still need a test drive.

 

Ride Quality and Handling Ride Qaulity is the major reason to buy this one its an orignal european its not Mahindra Renault Logan.

 

Final Words  I wish my father buys me this one my budget is Eleven Lakhs. Trust me its for those people who are rich in taste and who understand cars.

 

Areas of improvement They should just increase more variants.

 

Nothing availiblethat you cannot like if you are rich in taste. Manual Mode Transmissiondiesel does not have all the features

I bought Renault's Fluence in April 2013 from  Renault Delhi West and within a matter of 2 months I have started facing serious issues with their after sales service. While driving the vehicle in the last rains supprisingly my car's dead axile got damaged and I had to call for the company's service vehicle to help me with the problem. No doubt their service vehicle came on time but i was informed that the axile needs to be replaced and so i sent my vehicle for  axile replacement on 9th July 2013.Since then my car is in the company's workshop and till date the workshop representatives tell me that they are yet to receive the new part from the company's factory. It is shocking to note that the car which was launched years back does not even have a proper service support for the customers. Further I also noticed in the company's workshop that not less then 20 more vehicles are  dumped there solely because of the shortage of parts.  I drove the car only for 1782 kms and now my brand new car is dumped in the workshop till now. Now I feel that I have wasted my money in this vehicle and having such a bitter experience I very strongly suggest that if anyone is thinking of buying this vehicle then they should at least wait for a couple of years more till the time their after sales service improves else you ll regret the fact of wasting your money and being associated with such a company.

Exterior The exterior is very appealing. the front is a very different design. the chrome,grill and headlights are very nicely placed. the boot is sturdy and lots of space. fine lines all alng to give the aerodynamic look.Ground clearance is about 17 cms which should be pretty good enough for indian roads.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Nice and refreshing interiors, good space and leg room. adjustable seats, semi foldable rear seats. Good music system with the latest technology, usb and bluetoooth connectivity, rear blinds, rain sensing wipers, light sensing headlights, strategically placed places for keeping glasses and other things. Air conditioning is also really good. rear ac vents are also given. dual climate control is a good feature for the fluence. It also has keyless entry using a smart card and then an on / off button. boot can be opened by the remote card.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Smooth ride, a bit of sound in the automatic as the ratios for gearshifts are a bit delayed. good fuel economy as claimed by the company, the automatic does not deliver a good torque when u want to accelerate and overtake because oof the preset ratios in the cvt engine. the gearbox is smooth.

 

Ride Quality & Handling Overall very smooth ride with excellent handling. Smooth suspension.The bumps and the ruggedness of the indian roads is minimised and does not reach the cabin that much. Easy handling in traffic.

 

Final Words Seems like a nice car. Easy handling, good economy, nice interiors and good technology put to use. Should be launched in more models in india.

 

Areas of improvement Manual model should also be launched for people wwho wanna take off fast and dont mind spending some extra fuel.

 

The looks, suspension, fuel economy, smooth engine, good handling, latest technology, good interiorsonly automatic available in petrol in India as yet

Exterior Great looks, stylish front design, catch everyone's attention on the road! It surely invites a second look!

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Features are excellent. Driver has almost everything on his steering wheel, making the drive absolutely comfortable, joyous and pleasurable. You have to drive this car to feel what is "feather touch steering"...Stunning!!. USB and Blutooth connectivity, phone features, Bose audio system, Cruise control, Speed limiter, driving parametrs display all at this price..Wow..Fantastic! Hugely spacious and comfortable to add the rear seat. Very comfortable, spacious legrooms both in the front and back.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is very silent, smooth and silky, pick up is excellent, cruise control is pleasureable. Not sure about Fuel economy. I am having this car only for about a week now. This car is not only a "driver's joy" but also passenger's pleasure.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is superb, road grip is stunning, it races to 150 kmph just like that without even you knowing it, enormous power, you are the king on highway. no doubt!! Steering, and break are very responsive. 

Final Words Wow !! Stunning !! Thats all I can say...for this price. Fantastic and fabulous car. I almost drove all cars in this segment before buying and I have absolutely no regret on my decision. All my friends, relatives, colleagues whover has driven this car has  given me "thumbs up" for my decision!!.

Areas of improvement Dash board looks more plasticky. Could have been more elegant, and plush with some wood. There is very less space for driver to keep things like, wallet, keys, and other miscellaneous items. (my corolla had more space..and I am certainly missing it).

Exterior Side & rear styling is good & ground clearance when compared to laura,jetta,cruze&elantra, build strength & quality is very nice , the size of the tyre is big when campared to all the car tyres in this segment so the ride & handling is very very nice.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Cruise control, speed limiter, nice stereo,leather seats,leathr finishing dashboard,steering wheel&gear knob, rear ac vents,sun blinds for rear&back sibe doors, four airbags, abs with ebd, esp, traction control,anti slip regulation, rear parking sensors,bluetooth system & hands free telephony, audio & bluetooth control behind the streeing wheel  & speed limiter contros on streeing wheel.start stop button is nice feature in even basic model, automatic light & rain sensors.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Fuel economy is good & improved power from 106 to 110ps engine ,gear shift is very nice smooth gears.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride & handling of this car is very very good, brake is good in test drive car i gone top speed upto 180km/hr in national highway 7, perfect fit & finish, easy to drive in high ways.

Final Words Best luxury & driving comfortable car in this segment if u dont belive me u can test drive all the car in this segment, rear styling is very very nice & good ground clearance.

Areas of improvement wiper speed is slow.
