Renault Duster Turbo Petrol
Duster Turbo Petrol Preview
The turbo petrol automatic version of the Duster was displayed at the Renault pavilion at the 2020 Auto Expo. This will soon be launched in the Indian market and will go on to be the most powerful Duster ever.
The styling tweaks include some red accents on the radiator grille, front bumper and even on the tailgate embellisher. To remind one that this isn't a standard Duster, but a more powerful one, the black roof rails get a Duster branding in bright red. The SUV also rides on a new set of alloy wheels with a very interesting pattern. These are shod with Apollo tyres sized 215/60 R17. Inside the cabin of the SUV, there aren't many changes apart from the change in pattern for the seats. All equipment is carried over from the current version of the Duster. However, the biggest change is under the hood.
This upcoming Duster is powered by an all-new 1.3-litre, turbo petrol engine. This is a BS6 compliant direct-injection mill that churns out 154bhp of power and 250Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to an X-Tronic CVT automatic to add to the driver's convenience. We think this powertrain combo might also make its way into the Renault Captur.
