In 2020, Ola Electric announced its plan to introduce new electric scooters in India along with the announcement to build a manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu. It launched the first electric scooter, the S1, in the country in August last year, which is available in two variants, the S1 and S1 Pro.
Ola also operates in Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom as a ride-sharing company. And it further plans to expand its business to other countries in the coming years.
