- Boasts cosmetic changes
- Gets an updated hybrid engine
Volvo has recently confirmed an event on 4 March, which we are certain, is the launch of the facelifted XC90. This model was globally revealed last year with updated exterior and interior features.
The Volvo XC90 gets cosmetic tweaks, making it look like its electric sibling — the EX90. This is in line with the brand's new design language, even though the proportions remain the same. This will mark the second major facelift for the SUV since its debut in 2014. Similarly, the interior sports minimal changes, giving it a fresh appeal and new features to stay relevant amidst competition.
Globally, the new Volvo XC90 doesn't get a diesel engine, but mild and plug-in hybrid powertrains. All variants are AWD, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. For the Indian market, further information including variant-wise prices, will be available on its launch day.
