- Third EV from Volvo for India
- Globally offered with 2 battery pack options
Volvo has confirmed that it will launch a new model in India. Set to be the EX90, it will mark its debut soon, and will be the third electric model from the Swedish brand in India after the EC40 and the EX30.

In terms of design, the Volvo EX90 retains a bit of familiarity from the XC90, yet manages to set itself apart with subtle visual changes. Key highlights include a sleeker pair of LED DRLs in the signature 'Thor's Hammer' design, vertically stacked LED headlamps, blanked-off grille with the Volvo logo, 20-inch wheels, integrated spoiler, Volvo lettering on the tailgate, C-shaped LED taillights extending into the tailgate, and an additional vertically positioned light element on either side of the windshield.

Inside, the 2026 EX90, Volvo's flagship offering, comes equipped with Level 3 ADAS, 14.5-inch vertically-mounted touchscreen infotainment system, nine-inch digital instrument cluster, 13.2-inch HUD, four-zone climate control, 360-degree camera, panoramic sunroof, V2L technology, OTA updates, powered front seats, wireless phone charger, and a Bose music system. The model is available with four-, six-, and seven-seat configurations internationally.
Globally, the new Volvo EX90 is available with 106kWh and 92kWh in AWD, dual-motor and RWD, single motor setups, respectively. The larger battery pack develops up to 680bhp and 780Nm, with a claimed range of up to 608km. The 92kWh unit, on the other hand, belts out 333bhp and 480Nm, with a claimed range of 565km on a single charge.
