- Could launch in 2026
- No mechanical change expected
A facelift for the Volkswagen Taigun has been spied on test. As expected and along the lines of what we have seen on the Skoda Kushaq facelift test mule, the face and rear end will be updated to bring it in line with the German automaker’s latest design language. This is a mid-life update for the SUV.
The cabin is expected to get some feature upgrades and some new trim but is largely expected to stay the same. No mechanical changes are expected and the car will continue with its 1.0-litre turbo and 1.5-litre turbo. Both engines get AT and MT options.

This is expected to be the only major upgrade for this generation of the Taigun as a new one is expected to arrive in 2027 and like its sibling, the Kushq could also be offered in a three-row configuration. We could also expect a CNG-powered version as well as similarly sized EV with the new generation.
