- Will mark Vinfast’s debut in the Indian market
After showcasing its products at the Auto Expo earlier this year, followed by the inauguration of its first showroom in the country just over a month ago, Vinfast is now ready to officially launch its first set of cars - the VF 6 and the VF 7.

Vinfast has confirmed that the prices of its initial offerings will be announced on 6 September. The Vietnamese carmaker has already opened a few dealerships across the country, with a target of 35 such facilities by the end of the year.

Coming to the models, the Vinfast VF 7 and the VF 6 can be pre-booked via the company’s official website for Rs. 21,000. We have detailed the colours and variants of both the SUVs, details of which are live on our website. The VF 6 and the VF 7 will be powered by 59.6kWh and 70.8kWh battery packs, although the finer details continue to remain under wraps. Both cars are assembled at the brand’s factory in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, which has an annual production capacity of 50,000 units, which is further scalable to 1.5 lakh units.
