- Red and Green shades replaced by darker hues
- New Moonlight Ocean shade added as a seventh colour option
Vinfast India has quietly updated the colour palette of the VF 6 and VF 7, introducing three new shades across both electric SUVs while retiring two existing ones. The changes are cosmetic and there are no mechanical or feature updates accompanying the colour revision.
The two outgoing colours, Crimson Red and Urban Mint, which were the red and green options on both models have been discontinued and replaced by darker interpretations of the same hues. Solar Red takes the place of Crimson Red, while Ivy Green replaces Urban Mint. Both cars previously offered six colour choices and now gain a seventh with the addition of Moonlight Ocean, a new shade that joins the lineup alongside the carried-over options.
The VF 6 and VF 7 themselves remain unchanged. The VF 6 continues with its 59.6kWh battery pack available in two states of tune, 174bhp on the lower variants and a bumped-up 201bhp on the higher ones, with a claimed range of 468km. It competes with the Mahindra BE 6, Hyundai Creta Electric, Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, and Toyota Ebella.
The VF 7 builds on this with the same 59.6kWh pack and an additional 70kWh battery option, available across three broad variants with a claimed range of up to 532km. It is also one of the few models in the segment to offer a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup a distinction it currently shares only with the Tata Sierra EV in this space.
