- Huracan successor
Lamborghini has slated the launch of the new Temerario in India for April 30. The car made its global debut on 17 August last year and is on sale in international markets. The Temerario is the successor to the Huracan and will replace the predecessor's naturally aspirated V10 with a twin-turbo V8 engine, albeit with three electric motors. More details are in this picture gallery.

So, unlike the current Huracan, the upcoming Temerario uses a plug-in hybrid powertrain. This features a new 4.0-litre, twin turbo V8 engine paired with three electric motors.

This internal combustion engine churns out 789bhp and 729Nm torque, while the electric motors add another 148bhp and 300Nm, taking the total power output to 920bhp.

There's an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, and the car comes with a 3.8kWh battery pack. The latter can be charged in 30 minutes using a 7kW AC charger.

What's most interesting, is the fact that the carmaker claims a sprint time from standstill to 100kmph in just 2.7 seconds for this baby Lambo. Moreover, it has a top speed of 340kmph.

In terms of design and styling, this entry-level supercar carries forward Lamborghini's sleek, wedge-shaped design with a low and flat fascia. It boasts hexagonal LED DRLs and slim LED headlamps.

Similarly, the upswept rear end features a spoiler and a central exhaust flanked by hexagonal LED tail lamps.

Inside its cabin, the Temerario gets a huge 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and an 8.4-inch vertical infotainment system.

There's even an additional 9.1-inch screen on the passenger side. Besides, the centre console and the new three-spoke steering wheel still get buttons for easy controls.
