Toyota Kirloskar Motor has introduced a new Tech Package for the Urban Cruiser Hyryder, aimed at enhancing the SUV’s in-cabin comfort and convenience. Priced at Rs. 29,499, the package is available across all variants, and can be opted for at Toyota dealerships nationwide.
The Tech Package comprises three Toyota Genuine Accessories. These include ambient lighting, heads-up display to reduce driver distraction, and a digital video recorder or dashcam.
The Urban Cruiser Hyryder has been on sale in India since 2022, and is offered with a strong-hybrid powertrain, as well as a naturally aspirated petrol option. The strong-hybrid variant delivers a claimed fuel efficiency of 27.97kmpl, while the petrol version comes with manual and automatic gearboxes, along with 2WD and 4WD options.
Currently priced from Rs. 10.94 lakh, ex-showroom, the Hyryder has crossed the two lakh sales milestone in India. With the introduction of the Tech Package, Toyota aims to further strengthen the SUV’s appeal by offering buyers an easy upgrade path.
Rivals to the Hyryder include the Kia Seltos, Tata Sierra, Hyundai Creta, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, and the Maruti Suzuki Victoris.
