Earlier this week, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) unveiled its first all-electric model, called the Urban Cruiser Ebella. Based on the Maruti e Vitara, which also happens to be the Indian automaker’s first electric offering, the Ebella is expected to be launched in the coming weeks.

The new Toyota Ebella EV will be available in three variants, E1, E2, and E3. The entry-level E1 variant will be offered only with the 49kWh battery pack paired with a single electric motor that develops 142bhp and 189Nm.

On the outside, the 2026 Urban Cruiser Ebella features LED DRLs, projector headlamps, 18-inch alloy wheels, rear door handles positioned behind the rear windows, chunky body cladding, front fender-mounted charging port, fresh LED taillights, shark-fin antenna, reflectors on the rear bumper, and faux skid plates.

Inside, the electric SUV from Toyota comes equipped with a dual-tone brown and black theme, new two-spoke multifunction steering wheel, silver finish for the AC vent surrounds, EPB with auto-hold, AVAS, dual 10-inch screens, sliding and reclining second row, height-adjustable driver seat, auto-dimming IRVM, tilt and telescopic adjustable steering, and 40:20:40 split rear seats.
