- New base variant priced at Rs. 9.55 lakh
- Available only in the petrol manual version
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has introduced a new variant in the Rumion lineup. Called E, it sits below the S variant, and replaces the latter to become the most affordable offering in the range.

Priced at Rs. 9.55 lakh, the new Rumion E variant is available with the 1.5-litre, NA petrol engine paired with a five-speed manual transmission. This motor is tuned to generate 102bhp and 139Nm. The Rumion range is also offered with six-speed torque converter automatic and CNG versions.

Key features of the Toyota Rumion E variant include halogen projector headlamps, LED tail lights, 15-inch steel wheels with wheel covers, dual-tone interior theme, front and rear power windows, tilt-adjustable steering, six airbags, height-adjustable front seat belts, ABS with EBD, ESP, and HHC.

Compared to the next S variant, which is priced at Rs. 10.51 lakh in the same petrol manual avatar, Toyota has skimped out on a fair bit of features, considering the price difference of Rs. 95,500. These include turn indicators on the ORVMs, body coloured door handles and ORVMs, sliding front arm rest with storage, second row centre console AC vents, remote keyless entry, illuminated type-C charging ports for the second row, day and night adjustable IRVM, audio screen with touch buttons, four speakers and two tweeters, steering mounted controls, USB and Aux connectivity, and a security alarm.
