- Prices start at Rs. 31.99 lakh
- Available in three variants
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) launched the refreshed Hilux in India earlier this week, with prices starting at Rs. 31.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The model is available in three variants, and now comes only with an automatic transmission.

We have now learned that Toyota commenced bookings of the new Hilux on 26 July. These bookings can be made on the official website or via authorised dealerships. The deliveries of the updated pick-up are set to commence in the second week of August.
It is to be noted that while Toyota has not changed the price of the entry-level version of the Hilux, the carmaker has taken out the manual transmission-equipped variants from the range. Additionally, select features have been removed, some of which include dual-zone climate control, rear AC vents, auto-dimming IRVM, cooled glovebox, powered driver seat, and leather upholstery.

The Hilux continues to be powered by a 2.8-litre diesel engine paired with a six-speed torque converter automatic unit. The power output, though, has been boosted to 201bhp and 500Nm. Customers can choose from three variants – GX 2WD, GX 4WD, and VX 4WD. There are six colours on offer, namely Sulphur Metallic, Platinum Pearl White Metallic, Attitude Black, Ash, Emotional Red, and Super White. We have driven the new Hilux and our review will be live at 12PM on 1 August.
