- Fortuner Legender now costs up to Rs. 71,000 more
Toyota Kirloskar Motor has revised the prices of the Fortuner SUV across its range in India. The popular ladder-frame SUV is offered with both petrol and diesel engine options, paired with manual and automatic gearboxes, and is available in 4x2 and 4x4 configurations.
The latest price hike for the Fortuner ranges between Rs. 51,400 and Rs. 74,000, depending on the variant and transmission. As part of this revision, Toyota has discontinued the Fortuner Leader Edition. Meanwhile, the GR-S variant continues as the flagship offering in the lineup and is now priced at Rs. 49.59 lakh, ex-showroom.

Alongside the standard Fortuner, prices of the Fortuner Legender have also been increased. The Legender now commands a premium of up to Rs. 71,000 over its earlier prices. It is available in 4x2 and 4x4 trims, with manual and automatic gearbox options, and also offers a mild-hybrid diesel variant. Post revision, prices for the Legender start at Rs. 42.17 lakh, ex-showroom.
In terms of powertrains, the Fortuner petrol is powered by a 2.7-litre engine producing 164bhp and 245Nm of torque. The diesel variant uses a 2.8-litre engine that develops 201bhp, with torque figures rated at 420Nm for the manual version and 500Nm for the automatic.
