Toyota India has started taking bookings for the Land Cruiser 300 (LC300) across all its dealerships in the country. The brand's flagship SUV will be offered in two distinct variants — ZX and GR-S.
While the LC300's ZX variant is priced at Rs. 2.31 crore, the off-road spec GR-S variant is available at Rs. 2.41 crore (both ex-showroom, India). The Land Cruiser is known for its power, luxury, and off-road dominance. However, the GR-S variant gets additional GR Sport branding, off-road tuned suspension, different grille, new bumpers, and dark alloys. Moreover, the ZX variant has a Neutral Beige and Black interior theme, while the GR-S variant sports Black and Dark Red. Nevertheless, the cabin equipment is identical, with the inclusion of ADAS and other features.
The Toyota Land Cruiser 300 is built on the modular TNGA-F platform and features a lightweight, yet rigid ladder-frame structure. The SUV is powered by a 3.3-litre twin-turbo V6 diesel engine, producing 304bhp and 700Nm torque. It comes mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission, and a full-time 4WD system comes as standard.
The carmaker continues to retail the LC300 through the CBU (completely built unit) in India. Reservations have started today, and all authorised dealerships will take orders for the SUV that has seen an overwhelming demand. As for the colour options, two shades, namely Precious White Pearl and Attitude Black will be offered.
