Renault has launched a special edition of the Duster ahead of the festive season. It’s called the Duster Sandstorm Edition and gets some cosmetic changes. Here are three changes that set it apart from the regular model.
1. New front bumper
The SUV sports a revised bumper with Duster branding. This is similar to the one seen on the adventure edition. However, since the front grille is now blackened it looks different. It also gets extra lamps.
2. Alloy wheels
Look closely and you will notice that this model rides on new style Zodiac 16-inch machined alloy wheels. These are different from the ones available on other models.
The Sandstorm edition will be offered in three colour options only - outback bronze, moonlight silver and slate grey. There are sandstorm decals on the hood, doors, tailgate and ORVMs. It also gets body coloured door handles and new 16-inch alloy wheels.
4. Interior enhancements
The interior of the Sandstorm edition comes in black and grey. On the other hand, the centre fascia sports a dark chrome finish. The door trims and door handles are coloured black. Other highlights are the bright accents on the new seat covers. The floor mats too come with 'Sandstorm' branding like on the seat covers. But, more importantly, this RXS trim comes equipped with a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system and dual front air bags.
The Renault Duster Sandstorm Edition is available in two trims - RXS Diesel 85 PS and RXS Diesel 110 PS. These are offered at an introductory price of Rs 10.90 lakhs and Rs 11.70 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively.
