This is how the BMW X2 M may turn out

The rendered image is unquestionably M tradition, thanks to the distinctive edgier fascia which brings together finer styling lines from existing M cars like the M2 and M3. Details like the large black alloys with low profile tyres, angular head lights and sporty body panels help lend the rendered X2 M with a sporty intent. BMW could borrow the M2’s 3.0-litre V6 motor for this application after engineers further tweak its present output of 365bhp to adapt to the new body style and weight.

As BMW has been looking to equip its M models with all-wheel drive of-late, like it did with the new M5, there is speculation that the X2 M could also be at the receiving end of this setup. Sources claim that the BMW X2 M could be launched globally by the second quarter of 2019, after the new BMW X2 hits the market in early 2018.
