- The Victoris Beats the Grand Vitara
The bestselling Maruti Suzuki in October 2024 was the Dzire compact sedan, with 20,791 units moved. It has beaten out the Ertiga that moved 20,087 units, and the Wagon R which was a distant third with 18,381 units. In fact, this is the second month of the Dzire being the top-selling Maruti. It sold 20,038 units as compared to the Swift that retailed 15,547 units. Maruti's new boy, the Victoris SUV, beat the Grand Vitara by selling 13,496 units as compared to 10,409 units for the latter.

October has been a big month for the Maruti Suzuki, given that it hit the three crore sales milestone just as the new month began. It has also achieved an export milestone for the Jimny, announced eight new SUVs at the Japan Mobility Expo, and showcased both the Fronx FFV and the Victoris Biogas variant.
