- Currently has a six-model EV range
- Sierra EV is expected to launch in the next quarter
Tata has topped EV sales in November 2025. As per data revealed by FADA (Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations), it retailed 6,153 units in November 2024 as compared to 4,489 units in November 2023, resulting in a 38 per cent YoY growth. However, it sold 7,239 units in October 2024, resulting in a 15 per cent MoM de-growth. It should be noted, though, that the festive season was longer than usual this year, and many manufacturers saw sales success in September and October.

MG came in at a close second with 3,693 units, followed by Mahindra with 2,956 units. YoY growth stood at 10.3 per cent and 408.7 per cent, respectively. In the case of the latter, the number is massive, as Mahindra hadn't started sellingthe XEV 9e and BE 6 BEVs in November 2023. It now has the XUV400, XEV 9e, BE 6, and the recently launched XEV 9S as part of its total lineup.

Tata's dominance in the EV segment is on the back of having the maximum number of cars in the fight, with six cars across a wide price range of almost Rs. 20 lakh. This range will be joined by the Sierra EV that is expected to come in the last quarter of FY26.
