- Token amount set at Rs. 11,000
- To be offered with petrol, diesel, and EV powertrains
Select Tata dealerships have begun accepting unofficial bookings for the all-new Tata Sierra for a token amount of Rs. 11,000. The reborn SUV is set to be launched on 25 November, and will be offered with petrol, diesel, and EV powertrains.
The production-ready Sierra made its official debut recently, although the carmaker ensured that no details beyond the exterior features and colours were revealed. The SUV will arrive with a new petrol engine and a diesel option for the ICE lineup, while the Sierra EV would sit at the top with a larger battery and extended range. Variant-wise details and full specifications are expected to be disclosed closer to or on the launch day.
The Sierra would sit between the Curvv and the Harrier in Tata Motors’ portfolio, and compete against the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, Mahindra XUV700, and similar mid-size SUVs. In terms of features, the Sierra is the first Tata model to debut with a three-screen dashboard layout, redesigned centre console, dual-tone seat upholstery, large panoramic sunroof, and a premium sound system. Safety equipment includes six airbags, 360-degree camera, and a Level 2 ADAS suite.
