Tata Sierra EV Launched: Prices in India Start at Rs. 18.79 Lakh

Tata Motors has officially launched the Sierra EV in India, with introductory prices starting at Rs. 18.79 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai) without a charger. Bookings are now open, with deliveries set to begin on 15 July. The Creta Electric rival is available in five variants.

The Sierra EV is available with two battery pack options – 75kWh and 63kWh. The claimed range for these versions stands at 665km and 565km (MIDC cycle), respectively. Further, the battery can be juiced up to add a range of 250km+ in just 15 minutes, with the help of express charging. Additionally, the model is said to sprint from 0-100kmph in 5.8 seconds.

On the outside, the new Tata Sierra EV features all-LED lighting, LED light bar at either end, blanked-off grille, flush-fitting door handles, Tata EV badging on the front doors, new 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, revised front and rear skid plates, integrated spoiler, shark-fin antenna, and the Sierra EV lettering on the tailgate.

Inside, the 2026 Sierra EV comes equipped with a panoramic sunroof, Level 2 ADAS, front seats with electric adjustment and ventilation functions, three screens on the dashboard, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, 540-degree camera, four-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata EV logo, boost mode, air purifier, JBL music system with Dolby Atmos, HUD, rear sunblinds, boss mode, iRA connected car technology, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Key safety features include six airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, park assist, rear wiper and washer, EPB with auto-hold, ABS with EBD, ESP, AVAS, TPMS, and more.
