Tata Motors took a staggered approach with respect to announcing the prices of the Sierra over the past month. The mid-size SUV, priced from Rs. 11.49 lakh (ex-showroom), competes with the likes of the Maruti Victoris, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, MG Astor, Tata Curvv, and the Honda Elevate.

Tata has now revealed the exterior and interior of each of the Sierra’s variants, and in this article, let us take a closer look at the entry-level Smart+ variant. Priced at Rs. 11.49 lakh and Rs. 12.99 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom) for the Revotron turbo petrol and Kryojet diesel engines, respectively, it is available only with a six-speed manual transmission.

Key feature highlights of the new Sierra Smart+ variant include bi-LED projector headlamps, electrically adjustable ORVMs, powered tailgate, rear-window sunshades, EPB with auto-hold, auto-dimming IRVM, rear AC vents, dual-tone paint, flush-fitting door handles, 45W type-C charging port, all-wheel disc brakes, LED DRLs and tail lights, and all four power windows.

The safety net of the Sierra includes six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, HAC, HBA, TSC, reverse parking sensors, puncture repair kit, height-adjustable seat belts, and more. It is to be noted that the base variant of the Tata Sierra is offered only in three colours – Pristine White, Pure Grey, and Coorg Clouds.
