- Available in the top-spec Accomplished guise
- Introduces several new features
Tata Motors is set to launch the turbo-petrol-powered Harrier and Safari in India. The SUVs were recently unveiled, and we have already shared a detailed video along with a comprehensive text review.
With the introduction of the new powertrain, the Safari also gains a new Ultra variant positioned within the Accomplished trim. This variant brings in several new features, many of which are borrowed from the Harrier EV.

Key additions include a larger Harman infotainment touchscreen featuring Samsung Neo QLED technology, a Level 2 ADAS suite with 22 features, and a digital IRVM, branded as VisionEX, with a built-in dash camera and Dolby Atmos support. The SUV also gets a sliding armrest, camera washer, built-in navigation with Alexa integration, memory function for the ORVMs with an auto reverse-dip feature, and a new Oyster White and Gold interior theme.

Powering the petrol Safari is the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol Hyperion engine, which recently debuted in the Sierra. Unlike the Sierra, the Safari petrol is offered with both manual and automatic gearbox options.
With this update, the Tata Safari petrol now competes more effectively with rivals such as the Mahindra XUV700, Hyundai Alcazar, MG Hector Plus, and other petrol-powered seven-seat SUVs in the segment.
