- First mid-cycle update
- Expected to borrow updates from the recently launched ICE Punch facelift
Tata Motors has confirmed that the Punch EV facelift will be launched in India on 20 February. The announcement follows the recent introduction of the updated ICE Punch, and attention now shifts to its electric counterpart.

When the Punch EV debuted two years ago, it already featured Tata’s newer design language. Hence, the facelift is expected to bring subtle cosmetic revisions rather than a complete overhaul. Updates are likely to mirror those seen on the ICE version, including a fresh alloy wheel design and connected LED tail lamps. Tata could also introduce new colour options and special editions to keep the model fresh in the market.
On the feature front, the Punch EV is expected to retain its existing equipment list. This includes a large touchscreen infotainment system, fully digital driver display, touch-based climate controls, electric sunroof, wireless charger, and a dual tone cabin theme.

The powertrain setup is likely to remain unchanged. The EV is expected to continue with 25kWh and 35kWh battery packs, offering claimed ranges of 315km and 421km, respectively.
Once launched, the updated Punch EV will continue to rival the Citroen eC3 and MG Comet EV. The segment is also set to expand with the arrival of the Vinfast VF 3 in the coming months.
