- Connected setup expected for the rear end
- No change in power figures anticipated
The Tata Punch EV facelift is set for a 20 February launch. Ahead of the same, the carmaker showcased the facelifted Punch EV, displaying its front end.
Up front, the Punch EV facelift gets an updated front with separate headlight clusters. The same used to be connected by a black plastic cladding in the pre-facelift. The new Punch also loses out on a connected LED DRL setup as opposed to its previous iteration. Although the facelift has a Harrier EV-inspired geometry, it’s quite a polarising design.
The side profile remains unchanged, and the Punch facelift continues to get chunky black side claddings, black wheel arch claddings, and ORVM-mounted turn indicators. The rear end is expected to get a connected tail-light setup, much like its ICE sibling.
Internally, the existing Punch EV already follows Tata’s modern design language. Expect a large infotainment, inductive charger, digital instrument cluster, capacitive HVAC controls, and a dual-tone cabin.
Mechanically, the Tata Punch EV facelift is highly likely to remain unchanged, carrying over the same 25kWh (80bhp/114Nm motor) and 35kWh (121bhp/190Nm motor) battery packs, delivering claimed ranges of 315km and 421km, respectively.
