Tata Punch Achieves 6 Lakh Units Production Milestone in 4 Years

Tata Motors has achieved a significant milestone with the Punch, which has become the fastest-selling SUV in India by surpassing the six lakh production mark in under four years. Launched in October 2021, the Tata Punch introduced a new sub-compact SUV segment, and has since established itself as a popular choice among Indian car buyers.

Available with petrol, CNG, and electric powertrains, the Punch continues to appeal to a wide range of customers. Tata claims that nearly 70 per cent of the Punch ICE buyers are first-time car owners, while 25 per cent of Punch EV buyers are women. The Punch has also received a five-star safety rating for both ICE and EV versions. Furthermore, in 2024, it made history by becoming the highest-selling car in the country.
