On one hand Fiat is planning to open exclusive showrooms, separate from the existing Tata-Fiat joint dealerships and on the other, Tata is planning to split its existing dealership network to utility vehicles and passenger cars.
The company believes that with its expanding portfolio, the company will have separate dealerships for its utility vehicles which include the Venture, Sumo, Grande, Safari and the Aria and a difference showroom for the Indica and Indigo range. Tata also has plans to introduce standalone showrooms for the Nano to focus more on individual sales of all these cars.
