- Avinya premium range likely to arrive in Q4
- Two ICE and EV facelifts announced
Tata Motors has announced a six-product pipeline for FY27. It will kick off this stream of launches with the Sierra EV, which has been confirmed for Q2 of this financial year. This will then be followed by two ICE facelifts and two EV facelifts before it showcases its Avinya brand and products in Q3 and Q4 of FY27. Also included in the mix will be the Safari EV, a long-overdue product and one that will help Tata go up against the Mahindra XEV 9s.

The Safari EV is expected to arrive in the festive season, whilst the Avinya range is likely to be the star of the Tata pavilion at the 2027 Bharat Mobility Expo. In fact, we now expect Tata to have a completely separate zone at the auto show for the Avinya experience. The first car off Avinya will be a massive SUV expected to be priced in the range of Rs. 40 lakh to Rs. 50 lakh.

There is no word yet on the facelifts, but these could likely be updates for the Nexon/Nexon EV range, as these have been in their current avatar for almost three years now. The Nexon is Tata's cash cow, and an upgrade in the face of updated competition will really bring the sub-compact SUV back in the game. The other model is likely to be the Tiago/Tiago EV as test mules of this have been spotted doing the rounds over the last few months. However, nothing is clear as yet, both in terms of products and timelines.
