Tata Motors has launched an online platform for owners of the Tata Safari called Safari Owners United League (SOUL). The initiative aims to bring the owners of the SUV together ‘to share travel stories, experiences and learnings around their Tata Safari’. SOUL will allow members to participate in discussions as well as conduct online contests.
The dedicated website has been created exclusively for Tata Safari owners. They are required to fill in their details along with their Safari’s registration number at the time of entry. Once logged in, users will be able to access the discussion boards, create custom groups as well as participate in the contests to win exclusive prizes and privilege access to events.
It is likely that Tata has undertaken such a strategy to generate more interest for the Safari Storme Explorer edition. Also given the kind of off-road pedigree and image that the Safari has developed it is possible Tata wants to bring its owners together and form a community.
