Tata Motors has officially begun production of the Harrier EV at its Pune facility. Touted as India’s most powerful and intelligent SUV, the electric Harrier made its production debut with a ceremonial roll-off and is set to reach dealerships soon. Customer deliveries are scheduled to begin later this month, with the SUV already generating strong market interest.

The Harrier EV will be available in two drivetrain options – Rear Wheel Drive and Quad Wheel Drive – and four paint shades: Nainital Nocturne, Empowered Oxide, Pristine White, and Pure Grey. It also gets a Stealth Edition featuring a matte black exterior and blacked-out interior.
Customer can book the Tata Harrier EV for a token amount of Rs. 21,000. As for the prices, the RWD variants are available at a starting ex-showroom cost of Rs. 21.49 lakh. Meanwhile, the QWD tech is being offered at a premium cost of Rs. 28.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
Built on Tata’s acti.ev+ platform, the Harrier EV features a dual-motor QWD setup with segment-leading torque and acceleration. It debuts several first-in-segment features such as a Samsung Neo QLED Harman display, Dolby Atmos sound system, and a 540° Surround View camera that offers a complete view around and under the vehicle.
