- Claimed range of 502km
- Available with two battery pack options
The Curvv EV is Tata’s most recent EV offering. It has a 123kW electric motor, powered by either a 45kWh or a 55kWh battery pack. We have tested real-world numbers of the long-range model, which comes with a claimed range of 502km on a single charge.
The long-range model of the Curvv makes 165bhp and 215Nm, while the regular model puts out 148bhp and 215Nm. As per our testing protocols, we began the range test using the Curvv EV’s standard drive mode, with regen levels set to default. Then, we set the AC temperature between 21 to 23 degrees. We drove the Curvv EV majorly within city limits, and around 25 per cent across our predefined highway route. The coupe SUV managed to cover 345km before the battery drained to a point of complete standstill.
The Curvv EV is offered in five variants, and the most expensive variant gets you six airbags, climate control with rear AC vents, ventilated front seats, dual digital screens, 360-degree camera, connected car technology, panoramic sunroof/glass roof with voice control, ambient lighting, Level 2 ADAS, and a full LED light package. The rivals for the Tata Curvv EV include cars like the Mahindra BE 6e, MG ZS EV, and the Hyundai Creta EV.
