- Limited to 200 units
- Gets dual-tone colours for the first time
Skoda India has expanded the colour palette of the Slavia Monte Carlo with the introduction of new Shimla Green and Steel Grey shades. Both are offered in a dual-tone finish and are limited to just 200 units across both variants, making them a fairly exclusive proposition for buyers looking for something distinctive within the Slavia range.

The Monte Carlo trim has been part of the Slavia lineup for a while now and distinguishes itself from the standard car through a set of blacked-out exterior elements, Monte Carlo-specific styling details, and black and red interior theme.
The Shimla Green and Steel Grey shades are available across the 1.0-litre automatic and 1.5-litre DSG variants of the Slavia Monte Carlo. Interestingly, there are no changes in the prices of the new colours and are retailed at the same price as the Monte Carlo range.

On the powertrain front, the Slavia Monte Carlo continues with two engine options. The 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol produces 114bhp and 178Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed torque converter automatic. The larger 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol produces 148bhp and 250Nm of torque, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The 1.5 TSI also gets Active Cylinder Technology where two of the four cylinders shut down under light loads to improve fuel efficiency.
