- Expected to Arrive in FY27
- No Mechanical Changes
A much-expected but rarely spotted facelift for the Skoda Slavia sedan has been spied doing the rounds. Much like the Kushaq facelift, it too will get a new front and rear as part of its main upgrade. These design changes will bring it in line with Skoda's latest sedan/estate design language, which it debuted a few months ago.
We expect bigger changes inside with new features and upholstery as part of the overall package. Though a bigger focus is expected to be on the former, as this is something both the Slavia and Kushaq really need in the face of growing competition.

There are expected to be no mechanical changes, and the car will continue with its 1.0-litre TSI and 1.5-litre TSI. Both engines get a six-speed MT as standar,d with the former getting a six-speed AT and the latter a seven-speed DCT.
The sedan market has really shrunk over the last few years, and in this small pond, the Slavia has been able to make quite a splash. Its rivals include the Honda City, Hyundai Verna, and Volkswagen Virtus but also top-end versions of cars like the Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Fronx, Mahindra XUV 3XO, and the Tata Nexon. A facelift for the Kushaq will arrive by the end of this financial year with the sedan expected to follow suit a few months later.
