Skoda Auto India has achieved a significant milestone with the Kylaq, as the compact SUV crossed the 50,000-unit production mark in the country.
The model has emerged as a key growth driver for the brand, contributing substantially to the Group’s 36 per cent year-on-year growth in 2025.
To support the growing demand for the Kylaq, Skoda increased production capacity at its Chakan facility by 30 per cent. Alongside this, the company strengthened engagement with domestic suppliers to achieve higher levels of localisation.
Since its launch, the Kylaq has played an important role in expanding Skoda’s footprint in the highly competitive compact SUV segment.
In terms of pricing, Skoda recently revised the prices of the Kylaq by up to Rs. 33,000 on select variants. Following the update, the SUV is now priced from Rs. 7.59 lakh to Rs. 12.99 lakh, ex-showroom.
