Skoda has introduced the Kushaq facelift, marking the first major update for the SUV since its debut in 2021. With this refresh, the Kushaq receives cosmetic updates, feature additions, revised gearbox options, and a new variant nomenclature to keep it competitive in the segment.
Refreshed Exterior Styling
While the overall silhouette and dimensions remain unchanged, the Kushaq facelift sports several visual updates. These include a redesigned front grille with vertical chrome slats, new LED headlamps, and segmented LED DRLs. The SUV also gets a fresh design for the 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. At the rear, the segmented LED tail lamps continue, but the Skoda badge has now been replaced by an illuminated wordmark for a more contemporary look.

Three New Colour Options
The 2026 Kushaq is available in eight exterior colour options, three of which are new. These include Shimla Green, Cherry Red, and Steel Grey. Existing shades such as Candy White, Carbon Steel, Brilliant Silver, Lava Blue, and Deep Black continue to be offered.
Feature Additions Inside
Inside, the dashboard layout, seats, and the centre console largely resemble the outgoing model. However, Skoda has enhanced the cabin experience with a host of new features. The Kushaq facelift now gets a larger panoramic sunroof, fully digital instrument cluster, front parking sensors, bigger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ambient lighting, sequential rear turn indicators, second-row massage function, and new seat upholstery.

Revised Powertrain Line-up
The 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine, producing 114bhp, continues to be offered with a six-speed manual gearbox. It is now joined by a new eight-speed automatic transmission, replacing the earlier six-speed torque converter. Meanwhile, the 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine, tuned to deliver 148bhp, is now exclusively available with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, with the manual option having been discontinued earlier.
New Variant Naming Strategy
Skoda has also revised the variant nomenclature for the updated Kushaq. The SUV is now available in Classic+, Signature, Sportline, Prestige, and range-topping Monte Carlo trims. All other special and limited editions have been discontinued, with the Monte Carlo remaining the sole premium variant in the lineup.
