Taking the idea of bespoke car model to an entirely new level, the premium car manufacturer Rolls-Royce has unveiled the Wraith Luminary Collection. Limited to just 55 units, these cars join the highly exclusive ranks of collectible bespoke masterpieces from the company’s bespoke design team.
For the first time ever, the Wraith Limited collection gets the first ever shooting star headliner, illuminated wooden paneling and sunburst grey paint. For further personalized detailing, the vehicle gets a hand-painted Sunburst Motif coach line and hand-painted wake channel lines on the Wraith’s bonnet. The vehicle also gets saddlery tan pinstripes on the wheel centres to distinguish it from a regular model.
As for the interior, the Rolls-Royce Wraith Luminary collection for the first time offers illuminated Tudor Oak wood panels. The light of 176 LEDs permeates through an intricately perforated design in the unique Tudor Oak veneer, allowing a mesmerizing pattern, reminiscent of the trailing light of a shooting star that luminates at the touch of a button. It is linked to the starlight headliner controls where the cabin’s veneer thrills the occupants with an ambient light glow. The eight shooting stars fire at random, predominantly over the front seats, in recognition of Wraith’s owner-driver appeal.
Further adding on to the list, the Wraith Luminary’s cockpit is trimmed in Saddlery Tan with contrasting seats covered in Anthracite leather, thereby highlighting the prominence of the driver’s position. The contrast piping and stitching adds to the overall esthetics. Alternatively, a more dramatic contrast can also be selected by specifying Seashell coloured leather in the rear, both of which will be perfectly coalesced by the inclusion of a two-tone steering wheel. Interestingly, the vehicle gets hand-woven stainless steel fabric for the central transmission tunnel and door panniers, thereby contrasting the Tudor Oak wood and Saddlery Tan leather.
Completing the final touches, the car’s tread plates bear the provenance of this unique collection. ‘WRAITH LUMINARY COLLECTION – ONE OF FIFTY-FIVE’ is engraved in hand-polished stainless steel.
