- Will Be Launched in Early 2027
- Expected to Be Offered with Turbo Petrol and Hybrid Power
There is a big attention on the upcoming Renault Duster. It's Renault's ticket to the volumes game, and they are hanging much of their success on this vehicle. However, two more chapters of Renault's future are already being drafted in the form of the Bridger sub-compact SUV concept and a three-row premium SUV above the Duster. It will arrive in early 2027, and here are some new details about the car that have come to light after Renault did a deep dive on its Renault Global Modular Platform (RGMP). We have covered the highlights in a separate story.

Length and Wheelbase
The RGMP platform can accommodate a maximum length of 4.7 metres with a maximum wheelbase of 2.74 metres. Going by the segment standard and also the EU market Renault Boreal, we expect this car to come in at 4.6 metres but with a wheelbase of 2.74 metres, the maximum available from the platform. It will be offered in both seven-seat and six-seat guise courtesy of a captain-seat second row.

Powertrain Options
We expect that Renault will offer the three-row vehicle with the TCe 160 1.3-litre engine and the hybrid 1.8-litre petrol engine. The former can be had with either a six-speed MT or a six-speed DCT whilst the latter is expected to be offered with an eight-speed DCT. Renault has said bookings for the hybrid version will open later this year, with deliveries set for the festival season 2026.

Feature List
This three-row is expected to get all the features currently offered with the Duster, the likes of which include the dual digital screens, Level-2 ADAS, connected car technology, powered and ventilated front seats, Google integration, powered tailgate, and a full-LED light package.
Market Positioning
This three-row SUV will take on the likes of cars like the MG Hector Plus, Tata Safari, Kia Carens Clavis, Hyundai Alcazar, and the Mahindra XUV 7XO.
