- Expected to be launched later this year
- No change in powertrains expected
We have spotted the Renault Triber facelift on multiple occasions, but these latest images reveal the front end for the first time. Compared to the more upright stance expected from its Nissan counterpart, the Triber features more rounded design elements and a slightly revised headlamp layout. However, the most significant visual change is the shape of the front grille, clearly indicating that this is the facelifted Triber.
This will be the most substantial update for the Triber since its launch in 2019. Both the front and rear ends will be redesigned, and we also expect updates to the dashboard and centre console. The Triber will retain its seven-seat configuration—its unique selling point—with the middle third-row seat now also featuring a headrest.

While these cosmetic and interior updates are noteworthy, the powertrain options are expected to remain unchanged. The facelifted Triber will continue with the 1.0-litre, naturally aspirated petrol engine, producing 71bhp and 96Nm of torque. Transmission choices will include a five-speed manual and a five-speed automated manual gearbox. Earlier this year, Renault also introduced a CNG variant of the MPV.
With Indian buyers increasingly gravitating towards larger cars, this update could serve as a turning point in the Triber’s journey, offering maximum space and utility within a price bracket that sits between premium hatchbacks such as the Maruti Swift and the Hyundai i20, and compact sedans like the Tigor and the Dzire.
