- To get a modern interior with a large touchscreen
- Revised fascia and rear profile with a new logo
After launching updated versions of the Kiger and Triber models in quick succession, Renault is now preparing to refresh its entry-level model, the Kwid. A new spy shot has revealed a test mule of the hatchback in a completely fresh avatar.

At first glance, it is difficult to confirm whether this is an updated ICE version or a completely new EV iteration. That said, the model showcases significant changes as compared to the current version.

Up front, the test car features a redesigned fascia with LED DRLs, halogen headlamps, and a new Renault logo. The side profile looks similar to the current ICE Kwid, with squared-off wheel arches, flap-style door handles, and steel wheels with covers. At the rear, there are new tail lamps, reworked bumper, roof spoiler, and a rear wiper.

Inside, the biggest change is a new cabin layout. The test mule is seen with a large touchscreen featuring a new UI, fresh steering wheel design, and a digital instrument cluster.

If the updated Kwid continues with ICE powertrains, it may carry over the same mechanicals, albeit with minor tune-ups.
