- Could be launched in 2026
- No mechanical changes expected
A facelift for the Renault Kwid has been spotted doing the rounds. The face, logos, and tail lamps have been covered up, indicating what's going to be updated when this version comes along. We also expect additional features for the cabin, like a bigger touchscreen and a new digital instrument cluster as part of the deal.

No mechanical changes are expected and it will continue with its 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine producing 65bhp and 96Nm. This engine can be had with a five-speed MT or a five-speed AMT. The automaker had hinted that the Kwid was not a part of the automaker's four-model plan that would be launched in India by 2027 but that it would get an update of some type to keep it relevant. With interest in the entry-level segment waning, Renault is expected to keep this generation of the Kwid alive as long as there is demand. Its two rivals are the Maruti Alto and Maruti Celerio.
