The new facelifted avatar of the Renault Kiger is finally here with prices starting from Rs. 6.29 lakh (ex-showroom). There are plenty of cosmetic upgrades and new features. However, the powertrains from the previous iteration have been carried over.
The Renault Kiger continues to be powered by the same 1.0-litre NA and turbo petrol motors. The former is offered with five-speed manual and five-speed AMT gearboxes. Meanwhile, the turbo petrol engine is coupled with either a five-speed manual or a CVT system.
As for the power output, the 1.0-litre NA petrol motor produces 72bhp and 96Nm. On the other hand, the turbo petrol engine is capable of churning out 100bhp and 160Nm of peak torque. That said, the engines are rated to deliver a claimed mileage of 19.83kmpl and 20.38kmpl, respectively.
